Jodie Foster - “The Lookout” Premiere

For years, Jodie Foster was recalled as a true blonde, however, here she borders between a shade of honey to a strawberry blonde. This chin length style with some feathering layers has a lot to offer in versatility of styling.

Adrienne Bailon - “Meet the Robinson’s” Premiere

These two views of actress Adrienne Bailon’s hairstyle show the movement as well as the dynamic look of her layered curly locks. Her particular shade of honey blonde indicates the probability of artificial hair color applied to curly hair, giving the hair shafts more strength and durability, therefore helping to define each S-wave. Curls were probably enhanced further with a curling iron that has an extra long barrel.

Gretchen Mol - Elton John’s 60th Birthday Party

Gretchen Mol has kept her hair pretty much all-one-length so far this year, however, she’s gone from a strawberry blonde, to a sassy redhead at the Oscars to this now all blonde color in a short time frame. Though her hair is basically considered short, she has incorporated some extreme sweeps that are clipped back into place with some low riding twists in the back created to top off her formal attire. Brushing hair far over from one side goes against hair’s natural gravitational pull and therefore creates “lift” from the scalp in this area. Using this for height and avoiding backbrushing gives it that slight, dramatic flair perfect for a night out. Clipping it into place around towards the back gives short hair the mock appearance of an updo. Twists are done to hold shorter hair into a coil that were first curled with a curling iron to help them to stay in place. One big twist or a couple of smaller ones can be used, all rolled closely together and pinned down to give the illusion of a faux French twist, all integrated together for a great formal style.

Ling Bai - Pinque Cirque Fashion Show

Youll find Ling Bai on the screen, mainly in movies that feature a lot of combat, yet you won’t find her fighting with her strong, healthy hair. This medium length is quite trendy with razored layering on the ends, and it is anything but traditional with the super straight lines, despite all the potential this haircut gives.

Jewel at Elton John’s 60th Birthday

Though this is a Jewel of a hairstyle, it represents a diamond in the rough. Even though this photo reveals a lovely, shiny, squeaky clean blonde, it is just a very casual, everyday style. Perhaps it is a sedu look that has become slightly unkempt from the weather, however, suffice it to say, we can all relate.

Sara Rue

Her hair has grown to an all-one-length style from the slightly layered, razor cut from earlier this month. Sara Rue’s medium length bob with fringe is a slight variation from her recent look, while supporting stripes of golds and a little hint of red color as well.

11 Tips For Beautiful Bridal Hair

1. Be true to yourself

Don’t choose a hairstyle that makes you feel not yourself.
Brides often get pressured into certain styles because of
“tradition”. If a particular style makes you feel uneasy,
don’t choose it. It does not matter that your mother, best
friend or hairstylist like it - what really matters is YOU.

2. Develop a clear idea

Before going to the stylist, try to develop a good idea of
what type of hairstyle you would like. Cut out the pictures
of your favorite hairstyles from magazines and bring them to
the stylist. If you can’t find any pictures, be prepared to
describe exactly what you want.

3. Do a practice run

Try out the hairstyle in advance, before your wedding day.
Schedule the “practice run” with your stylist. If the
hairstyle that you envisioned does not look as good on you
as you had hoped, you’ll be glad you found that out before
the big day!

4. Is it comfortable?

Walk around with this hairstyle for several hours to make
sure it’s comfortable. The last thing you would want is to
have hair pins hurting you and ruining your fun.

5. Take pictures

At the “practice run”, bring a Polaroid or digital camera to
take instant pictures. Ask the stylist to take pictures from
the back and other angles. The pictures will give you a
better idea how the style would look to others (as opposed
to just looking in the mirror).

6. Does it hold up?

Make sure your hair style does not get completely messed up
several hours later. Try moving around and see if the hair
stays put. You would not want a hair disaster during the
first dance!

7. Matching with your dress

Your hair style should go well with your wedding dress and
headpiece. Classic dresses go best with classic hairstyles.
Non-traditional dresses might look odd with the formal
updos. Buy the dress before you select a hairstyle. Bring
your headpiece and the picture of your dress to the stylist,
so the stylist can evaluate whether it’s a good match.

8. Watch out for chemicals

Don’t have any coloring or chemical treatments done right
before the wedding - these can go wrong, and there won’t be
time to fix them! Do them several weeks in advance.

9. Stay consistent

Don’t make drastic changes. Your wedding day is not the time
to color your hair in a completely different color or cut
off long locks. After all, you would still want people to
recognize you at your own wedding!

10. Beware of the height effect

Be aware that updos will make you look taller. Depending on
your situation, it might work for you or against you. If you
are already taller than the groom or are the same height,
don’t do an updo. If you are short, use the updo to your
advantage.

11. Keep it sensible

Don’t make your hairstyle too flamboyant - it should not
compete with your face and your dress. You would want to
avoid the situation where your hair is the only thing that
jumps out at people when they look at you.

Sedu Celebrity Hairstyles

The long lustrous hair of so many celebrities has the power of new technology behind them - the Sedu hair straightener.

Sedu Celebrity Hairstyles are in vogue and it easy for everyone to acquire natural, long, soft tresses. Celebrity hairstyles influence a large part of the female populace, so let us get an update of how you can get the look.

Getting Sedu celebrity hairstyle
To get the soft and straight look, you need a Sedu hair iron. This distinctive design, created in America, uses ceramic plates made of tourmaline crystals. The negative ion charge in the unit removes all the static from the hair, which gives you the wonderful, manageable and even seductive look. Your hair gets a shape, without the use of hairsprays or other harsh chemicals

Actors, singers and other celebrities have to spend long hours under strong light, which can ruin the hair and the look. Beautiful locks treated by the Sedu hair straightener do not react to heat and light, and the effect lasts long, besides there is none of the hated “frizzy” look. So before you hit the disco, a stylized Sedu celebrity hairstyle may be a good idea, your hair can look good as you dance away the night.

The Sedu celebrity hairstyle is quick to achieve, the ion charged flat iron actually give your hair the smooth, natural look quite fast. It is also “hair-friendly”, because unlike the coil iron or hairsprays, it does not damage the hair. There is no tearing or pulling, this is such a relief! It works especially well for women who have thick or curly and slightly coarse hair, and transforms these into soft manageable tresses.

The Sedu Celebrity Hairstyle to suit your style and face
Have you noticed something about the modern celebrity hairstyles – they are simple. Their hair could be short or long, but the tresses look natural and unfussy. Long hair like those of Jessica Simpson or Britney Spears is often the result of a Sedu hair straightener, with an application of some appropriate conditioner later. Short hair also becomes sexy with the flick Sedu hairstyle, and again getting this takes as little as five minutes. Once again, you would need to straighten your hair, and flick it just right at each end. Apply a little wax once it is done….and yes, you will look amazing! What’s more, celebrities prefer using Sedu because it suits dyed hair, right from burgundy to blond, rich brown and even hairstreaks.

Many actresses seem to be going in for the Sedu look. It is a preferred style even with those with typical ethnic features, as it is with straightforward American looks. You would see faces as diverse as Angelica Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, and Jennifer Aniston looking great with a Sedu hairstyle.

See the magic of the Sedu celebrity hairstyle when they walk down the ramp, or simply flick their tresses casually as they saunter down the Oscar red carpet, as they smile seductively for the camera. The shimmering hair is actually created from this amazing hair straightener!

Make sure you read the instructions carefully before you start emulating the look.

These are tips to remember:
Your hair has to be shampooed clean.
You could use some hair protection gel before you begin straightening, but make sure it dries off.
It must absolutely dry before you use the Sedu hair straightener.
Straighten your hair bit-by-bit.
Use the right size and temperature for you length of hair.
Make sure to use some wax or hair condtioner to get the shine.
It takes just a few minutes, and the Sedu celebrity hairstyle can be yours.

Christina Aguilera - “Back to Basics” Tour

Christina Aguilera has many small sections of her hair done in individual, coiled ringlets. This gives her lots of volume and versatility for styling. On stage, she chose to pin a curled section back on top, then after the concert last evening, she tones things down by pulling the sides around back and clipping into place. Note the slight reddish tint to her hair that shows up in both pics, proving not to be an illusion from stage lights.
