Sanjaya Malakar

The decision to make this a Freaky Friday segment or not was a tough one. Sanjaya Malakar surprised everyone when he performed this past week in what Ryan referred to as a “po-hawk”. This is how new terms are born. Sanjaya did have his faux-hawk done in a line of seven ponytails (7 for luck) making them a unique display. So unusual, in fact, that when the stage lights hit these ‘fountains’ of hair, they appeared eerily like flames on top of his head. So Freaky? To some of you, perhaps yes. However, this style of Sanjaya’s will live on as a fashion statement to some and to others, most definitely unforgettable.

However, note that Paula Abdul is no exception to this rule as she comes out each week with a different twist to her coif. Note the layout of her bangs that are strategically laid out into two careful directions.

Freaky Hairstyle

Who would want to be stuck behind this young lady at a movie theatre? Even for a costume party, this seems extreme and yet, it is commendable considering the time and effort put into it. The colors are extraordinary. However, we can all agree, it would definitely be in the finals of a Freaky Friday contest.

Naomi Campbell – Big Apple

This bob cut is a very easy-going style. Naomi Campbell would need the extra step of keeping it relaxed, however, for the every day effort, it’s worth it.
